Over time, the dog warmed up and became the happy pet that he really was. No amount of dirt and grime could make this pooch unlovable. He even started nuzzling up to the helpers around the shelter. This messy pooch won over the hearts of all of the workers. Most abused and neglected animals tend to fear and/or lash out at any humans that try to help them. It could be called a miracle that this dog was still a friendly and sweet-natured pooch that it was before being rescued. Once he started trusting people, the real work began.
